I have a reactive dog, are the parks suitable? We have put various things in place for you and your dog to have a stress free experience whilst visiting. If you are unsure if it is suitable after reading through the following information, you are welcome to arrange a viewing of the parks after hours with one of us. Please contact us directly.

We have two parks at Tails of Blackwoof. They run alongside one another with three fences separating them and approximately 2 meter gap in-between. There is a shared car park, we have staggered the start and finish times of each park to minimise crossover where possible. We also have a 15 minute changeover period between bookings. There is also a 'Waiting Space' that we ask customers to use if they are early for their session. This is the first space as you enter the car park. We ask that customers remain in their car if early, until the previous customers have left the facility. Although we have put this in place to avoid crossover with other dogs and humans. Due to there being another park on-site and a shared carpark we cannot guarantee this. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. There are on some occasions livestock (mainly sheep) are on the field/s next to ours. We have put green fabric or bamboo around the perimeter of the parks at approximately 1.2 meters high. However, they may still be visible when standing on the high mounds in our parks. They can also still be heard when on the park. If you have a ball/toy reactive dog, we do have ball pits and toys on both parks unfortunately.

How long is each park session? The sessions are 45 minutes, with a 15 minute changeover. We also often carry out park checks in-between bookings.

Can I book more than one session? Yes, some customers love to do this. It also means you get 1 hour and 45 minutes of park fun!

Will there be any other dogs in the park with me? No, it is strictly private hire. So when you hire a park (we have a choice of two) it is yours for 45 minutes! There will likely be other dogs on the other park that we have at the facility.

Do you have toilets on-site? Unfortunately we currently do not.

How tall is the fence? Theo's Park is approximately 6ft high and Piccolo's is approximately 5.5ft high.

How do I book the soft play? When you book Piccolo's Park you get the soft play within your booking. The soft play is located in Piccolo's Park. Please follow the stepping stones to the gate and take the four steps down into the soft play.

What is in the stables? We have a refreshment area with free tea, coffee and of course dog treats for your furry friends as well as a photobooth.

How many cars are allowed with our booking? We have a small car park that facilitates both parks. So please come in one car where possible. Two cars maximum and when necessary. Please contact us directly with any queries.

What are your opening and closing times? We are open 7 days per week. We do operate predominantly during daylight hours, however do close earlier on a Saturday and Sunday (allowing us to do maintenance). Please check our calendar as is does change with the seasons.

How far in advance can I book? Booking are released 30 days in advance, to the exact time. So 11am would be released at 11am, 30 days prior to the session you want.

How many dogs are allowed within my booking? We are allowed 10 dogs across both parks. So we have allocated 5 dogs per park. Please stick to this and contact us with any issues. 

Do you have dog showers? Yes, we have a dog shower in each park (cold water). We also supply shampoo, handwash and washing up liquid for the bowls.

What if our dog has an accident in the soft play? The soft play is located at the far end of Piccolo's Park. Most dogs tend to do their business in the park before heading indoors. We do have a cleaning station in there and a bin. We also spot checks throughout the day and do a clean of everything each evening when we close.

What is your cancellation and reschedule policy? Due to the private hire nature of the business. We ask customers to cancel sessions 24 hours prior to the session and reschedules 12 hours before. Please check the weather forecast in advance if your dog prefers dry weather. This allows another customer time to book the slot.
